They’re fucking begging for a revolt at this point
Getting paid for our time is the foundation of this entire economic relationship we’re engaging in a transaction where we sacrifice our time in return for the means to acquire our basic needs. If I’m not being compensated I have no incentive to continue to participate not even from your coercive withholding of access to the means for my continued survival (where if I die of deprivation you have plausible deniability from how the casual relationship is indirect and mediated) as you’ll aparrently refuse me anyways. That absence of leverage is exactly why this opinion piece is reduced to pitiful attempts at manipulation rather than making palpable threats but if you want to treat us like slaves you’ll soon enough have a slave rebellion.
